“I’ve become somewhat of an officianado on fishing forceps as I’ve used most.  The problem with nearly all forceps is that they’re not strong enough.  The frames and jaws twist from hook extraction or from some repair job that they were never designed to do.  Except for $200 professional surgical forceps (obviously not practical for fishing), it’s hard to find a great pair of forceps.  That is, until the StreamWorks forceps combo arrived.  Stainless and robust, the “Power Jaws” are as strong as a crocodile’s with the added feature of scissors for cutting lengths of indicator or whatever else is needed.  I think the scissors are so good that you could use them for finger amputation if the need ever arrived.  The hook de-barber on the side is another nice addition.  When I lose these, I’ll be replacing them with the same…they’re that good!”
